Rooms and artwork

Rooms a Curator adds are visible to all visitors. Saving a scan and layout uploads its AR world map, named places and artwork placements to Cloudflare. These published maps can be downloaded by visitors to recognise the room. Do not publish a private space unless you want to share its map.

Camera video stays on your device. Earlier private rooms and their structural RoomPlan exports remain local unless you explicitly publish a room. Deleting a shared room removes it and its layout from the public catalogue and stops further map downloads. It cannot recall copies already downloaded.

Curator access

A random installation ID is stored in Keychain and sent when you redeem a private Curator invitation. The server uses it to bind access to that installation. Your access credential stays in Keychain; the server stores its hash and revocation state. Visitors do not need an account or Curator invitation. The Vision Pro image viewer asks for world-sensing access.

Web artworks and this website

Interactive artworks load their websites inside the app and make requests to those hosts. Their privacy practices apply to those requests. MAR+ does not add advertising tracking or analytics. Cloudflare serves the catalogue, maps, site and beta downloads; network requests include your IP address and request headers. This site has no signup database.
